Vastu wallpapers for the master bedroom — a curated edit of 27 designs screened on the principles most Vastu practitioners apply to a sleeping space: no water scenes, no wild animals, no devotional imagery. Calm, earthy palettes and paired motifs, custom-printed to your exact wall size.
Chosen for the room you sleep in
Our bedroom range runs to over a thousand designs. This is a short, deliberate edit of it — every design screened against the principles most Vastu practitioners apply to a master bedroom, and against one plain question: would you still want to look at this at the end of a long day?
What we left out, and why
- Water scenes — waterfalls, ponds, rivers, open sea. Vastu associates water imagery in a bedroom with restlessness. It is also, simply, a busy thing to sleep beneath.
- Wild and predatory animals — big cats, hunting scenes. Striking in a study. Not over your pillow.
- Devotional and temple imagery — deities belong in a prayer space, not a private one. Those designs live in our Pooja Room collection.
- Heavy dark and high-contrast schemes — anything that fights the light instead of settling it.
What is left: blossoms and gardens, paired birds and peacocks, soft botanicals and quiet decorative repeats — in creams, clays, blush, sage and muted golds. Every design here was checked against its actual artwork, not its description.
On direction, and your particular room
Vastu guidance on colour and direction genuinely differs between practitioners, and it depends on how your home is assessed. The wall your bed backs onto is not the same question as the way that wall faces — and getting those two confused is how most online advice goes wrong.
So rather than print a rule that may not apply to your room, we would rather look at it with you. Tell us which way the room faces and where the bed sits, and we will shortlist from this collection for you. Talk to a design consultant — free, about ten minutes.
Ordering, without the guesswork
- Made to your wall, not to a roll. Send your width and height; we print to fit, so no awkward join and nothing wasted.
- See it before it prints. We send a digital preview of the design on your own wall dimensions. Nothing goes to press until you approve it.
- Order a sample first. Colour on a screen is never colour on a wall. Samples ship separately so you can judge the finish in your own light.
- Four finishes — Canvas, Handmade, Sandstone, Silk Sheen. Most orders dispatch in 4–5 working days, across India and to 28 countries.
- Installation support in all major cities.
Common questions
- Why are water scenes avoided in a bedroom? Vastu links water imagery in a sleeping space to emotional restlessness. Water designs sit better in a living room or entrance.
- Can I put a Radha–Krishna or other devotional wallpaper in the bedroom? Practitioners differ, but most advise against deity imagery in a bedroom because it is a private space. We have kept those designs in the Pooja Room collection so you can choose deliberately.
- Which colour suits my room? It depends on the direction your room faces and where the bed sits — ask us and we will shortlist for you.
- Do you have a Vastu consultant? Our design team can guide you on the selection, and we are happy to work alongside whoever advises your family.
A note on how to use this collection
We have curated these designs broadly, against the principles most Vastu practitioners agree on for a bedroom. What we cannot account for is the specific — your birth details, the orientation and layout of your particular home, and the reading your own practitioner takes from them. Vastu is often personal to the individual and the property, and two well-qualified consultants can advise differently on the same room.
So please treat this as a considered starting point rather than a ruling. If Vastu matters to your decision, confirm your final choice with your own Vastu expert before you order — and do send us their guidance. We will happily adjust colours or elements on any design to match what they recommend.
