I've spent years travelling — Rajasthan, Kerala, Varanasi, Bali, London, Kyoto— and everywhere I went, the same thing stopped me. A hand-painted wall in a haveli. An embroidered textile in a souk. A ceramic pattern in a Kyoto inn. Beautiful craft, centuries old, just living quietly in everyday spaces.
When I came home and tried to bring that feeling into my own rooms — wallpapers, fabrics, cushions, anything — nothing came close. It was either soulless imports or cheap prints with no story behind them. After a decade in corporate, I stopped searching and started building. That's how Life n Colors began.
